The Bradford Playhouse is a Theatre in Bradford offering a diverse series of venues for access within the West Yorkshire area.

Our Main Auditorium has a seating capacity of 265, exceptional for Theatre, Cinema, Cabaret and much more. The Studio is an intimate Theatre space, perfect for close-up Theatre, Filming Shoots, and Rehearsals. We transition into the Burnel Rooms, home of innovation, Grass Roots Music, and awesome gigs. We then ascend into the Sewing Rooms, light invades this spacious venue, offering a Bar, Cabaret Space and much more…

With a dedicated team, that possess a vast knowledge of working in Theatre. The Bradford Playhouse is a truly diverse Bradford based Theatre.

Passenger Lift

We have a passenger lift from street level to the bar, box office, and stalls level, making these areas much easier to reach. There are 2 wheelchair accessible seats available in the stalls.

Theatre – Main Auditorium

• Seating Capacity: 260
• Seating Style: Allocated theatre seating
• Accessibility: Step-free access to the stalls via the lift.
  There are 2 wheelchair accessible spaces in the stalls.
  The circle is not step-free and is only accessible via stairs.

Bar

• Capacity: 50 seated, 250 standing
• Seating Style: Flexible
• Accessibility: Fully accessible via the lift from street level.

Studio

• Seating Capacity: 56
• Seating Style: Unallocated bench seating
• Accessibility: Not step-free – access is via 14 stairs only.

Facilities

• Accessible Toilet: Available at Box Office Level
• Gender-Neutral Toilet: Available
• Baby Changing: Available
• Assistance Dogs: Welcome throughout the building
• BSL Interpreted Performances: Available for some shows – check listings
